Ultimately, GuilfordPACT is about getting out the vote for solutions.

We, the undersigned citizens of Guilford, in recognition of the open process initiated by the Board of Education and after careful review of the issues and options presented by the Community Task Force for School Facilities, believe that the optimal solution to the school facilities issues confronting Guilford is:

A comprehensive solution that provides a long term sufficient, healthy, well designed space that is conducive to learning, teaching and gathering for all Guilford students and teachers. While we understand that a comprehensive solution will come with substantial costs, we believe that a comprehensive solution is an essential long-term investment in the community as a whole.

Construction of both a new Guilford High School and a new facility for 7th and 8th graders (currently at Adams Middle School). While we understand that this entails significant cost, we believe that ultimately this is the most fiscally responsible option in terms of long term investment in our community.
