no ... one more email!!!

(Email from Michael Ayles)

how about one more!!! :-) I just sent this one which is similar to your message below:

"... As you are probably aware, Guilford's Town Budget will be voted on for a second time at referendum tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 6AM - 8PM at all regular polling stations. You probably have also received literature over this past weekend, as I did at several athletic events and common community locations, regarding how to vote. You probably also know that I am on the town's Board of Finance and voted in favor of the current proposed budget to be voted upon tomorrow in Guilford.

As such, I have seen the "Why Vote No?" flyers and many of the answers to the FAQ's provided are inaccurate. This attached response, set up in nearly the same FAQ format as the "Vote No" material, was compiled by several leaders in the community and will hopefully clarify some of those inaccuracies. The attached response is not to tell you how to vote, but to clear up inaccuracies portrayed and/or perceived in "Vote No" literature.

By sending this out, my ULTIMATE goal is to get you to come out and vote - no matter your view. My second goal is to ask you to send this on to as many people as you know in Town who will be voting to be ABSOLUTELY certain people are not voting based on inaccuracies sent out literally days before the budget referendum. The negative implications of this second budget referendum not passing will have lasting repercussions that will take years to rebound from.

Thank you for taking a moment to familiarize yourself with the issues at hand and please feel forward to send this e-mail on in whatever fashion is most convenient for you. See you at the polls!"
